
Georgios Kotzias, DPM, ABPM, FACFAS
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
Dr. Georgios Kotzias is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS). He also holds advanced certification and specialized training in Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine.
Dr. Kotzias specializes in comprehensive foot and ankle care, offering both conservative and surgical treatment options. His areas of expertise include minimally invasive surgical techniques, sports medicine and sports-related injuries, custom orthotics, bracing, diabetic wound care, limb salvage procedures, pediatric foot care, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Committed to providing exceptional patient care, Dr. Kotzias develops individualized treatment plans designed to help patients achieve optimal outcomes while utilizing the latest advances in podiatric medicine and surgery.
Dr. Kotzias completed his residency training in Foot and Ankle Surgery and Podiatric Medicine at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he served as Chief Resident. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University.
Following residency, Dr. Kotzias joined the faculty at Trinitas Regional Medical Center and currently serves as Podiatric Residency Director. In this role, he is dedicated to educating future podiatric physicians while remaining actively engaged in the latest medical literature, surgical advancements, and evolving standards of care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kotzias has performed more than 2,000 surgical procedures, including trauma, reconstruction, diabetic wound management, limb salvage surgery, and elective foot and ankle procedures.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kotzias enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His hobbies include skiing, fishing, and outdoor activities.
